And it makes good sense to put energy efficiency on the agenda at Christmas. CO2-emissions and global warming might put a definitive end to a white Christmas in large parts of Europe in years to come. And this would also mean a definitive goodbye to snowmen, sleighing and other traditional family entertainment during the winter months. But solutions to the problem actually already exist.
”When it comes to the heating of homes, already today we have a series of energy-efficient solutions. We can cut down considerably on CO2 emissions if we install them on a broader scale. Of course, we don’t expect that more radiator thermostats or advanced room thermostats will end up under the Christmas trees this year because of this advent calendar, but we do hope to increase awareness of the solutions we already have at hand to reduce CO2-emissions”, says Bjorn Sejr Nielsen, Marketing Director at Danfoss Randall.
And the savings potential in the cold winter months is considerable, both when it comes to the environment and to heating bills; for instance by installing new radiator thermostats or chrono-proportional room thermostats. Precisely how much there is to save, you can find out by opening the advent calendar.
