Based on advanced Z-Wave 2-way wireless technology, this versatile CF2 system offers optimum reliability and extended functionality, combined with unrivalled ease of installation and use. With its automatic self-diagnosis system, it has been developed to ensure quick and easy installation, commissioning and servicing - thus saving installers time and reducing their costs.
Designed for use with hydronic floor heating systems, the CF2 system provides a range of features for optimal comfort with individual room or floor temperature control, plus the option of wireless remote control. Depending on requirements, a CF2 system consists of up to three Master Controllers with appropriate wireless room thermostats from a choice of four, i.e. Standard, Public (tamperproof), Display and Display with Infrared Floor Sensor.
As required, an optional easy-to-use Remote Controller makes all CF2 system options, functions and application features accessible through its large display and centrally placed push buttons. A large system with up to 3 Master Controllers can be accessed using one Remote Controller.
Also, a Repeater Unit extends the transmission range between the Master Controller, room thermostat and other connected components by 2-way wireless communication. This is particularly useful where distance or physical objects may impede RF signals.
CF2 installation simply requires the Master Controller to be mounted on to a wall and connected to a 230V power outlet before quickly connecting the actuator cables. Each Master Controller features 5 or 10 outlets that accommodate a wide range of actuator cables. After the wireless assignment of the room thermostats to the Master Controller, the system is ready for use and to be handed over.
The system’s 2-way wireless communication ensures a high level of transmission reliability and, by means of the link test function, all wireless connections to room thermostats can be verified before the thermostats are physically installed. A remote antenna is available for situations where the Master Controller is shielded (e.g. in a metal cabinet) from other system components.
