DEVI, part of the global Danfoss Group, has been manufacturing electric floor heating units for more than 60 years and is currently Europe's leading industrial player. The new mat, designed for installation on concrete or tiled floors, completes the DTIF range and complements its existing 100Wm2 and 150Wm2 mats.
Devimats are prefabricated to allow easy installation. They comprise a self-adhesive open mesh onto which is attached a thin heating cable. The mat is laid in position and is then covered by a flexible tile adhesive that is used to fix the tiles to the floor. The total thickness of the mat and cable is just 3.5mm. Mats are available in a range of sizes from 1 – 12m2, each mat being approximately 0.5m wide.
The DTIF-200 mat utilises a twin-core heating cable with solid aluminium sleeving for added safety. Termination of the mat to the thermostat is achieved using a single 2-core cable moulded onto the met during manufacture. Appropriate thermostats are available from the DEVI range. The DTIF-range is certified in accordance with current standards and the heating cable mats are covered by DEVI’s general 10-year guarantee.
