Danfoss floor heating manifolds are used to control water flow in floor heating systems. Both flow and return manifolds have 1 1/4” connections, with connections for between 3 to 12 heating circuits, but more manifolds can be inter-connected if required.
The return manifold features individual pre-setting and integrated valve insert, which can be controlled by TWA-A thermal actuators. A full programme of manifold accessories, including compression fittings, brackets, end sections with drain taps and automatic air vents and reduction pieces, is available. |

- Easy to use
- No wiring
- Minimises running costs
- Good performance (self-acting proportional)
- Good value for money
For small systems, which may include conservatories or bathrooms, Danfoss produce a range of self-acting controls, which are simple to install. The FHV-R comprises of a valve enclosure which is built into a wall or partition, a valve sensor and a facia plate.
The FHV-R valve utilises an FJVR return temperature limiter sensor, which controls the temperature of the water leaving the floor heating circuit. As there is a good correlation between water and floor temperature, the FHV-R solution also ensures a warm floor is maintained.
The FHV-R is ideal for use in extensions to existing systems operating at normal flow and return temperatures (70 - 80°C) and provides the perfect solution for areas with high heat gains, such as conservatories. A mixing valve is not needed with this type of control.
Once installed, the user simply has to set the thermostat to the required floor temperature and leave it - the self-acting sensor will automatically limit the floor temperature to around 30°C. If the room is too cold or too hot the user can turn the sensor up or down until the required comfort setting is achieved. |

| The FJVR return temperature limiter automatically regulates the return temperature from radiators, convectors, smaller floor heating circuits etc. |

| The FJVR valve (normal flow) is used exclusively in conjunction with the FJVR return temperature limiter sensor. The FJVR valve is mounted in the outlet of a radiator or floor heating circuit. The valve - and sensor can be fitted in any position as long as the flow direction is observed. |

- Simple two wire operation
- Can be used with a wide variety of small seated valves
- Available in Normally Open and Normally Closed configurations
- Suitable for use on AC and DC circuits
- Position indicator on TWA models
TWA Series Thermal Actuators are low-cost wax filled thermal actuators are suitable for a whole range of zoning applications, including floor heating. They are available in either normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.) models, in both 230 Volt and 24 Volt versions. All models in the range have a very low power consumption of just 2 Watts. |
