The worlds first radiator thermostat was produced by Danfoss in 1943.

The idea was simple and brilliant - a thermostat should make it easy and convenient to control room temperature and save energy at the same time.
At this time Danfoss already had significant experience in temperature control of refrigeration plants, and developing that technology to regulate heating was a natural progression.

Since the demands made on a thermostat evolve constantly, Danfoss has had to evolve too. We, therefore, give our product development high priority.
